GAVALUME STEEL COIL
Also known as aluzinc or zincalume steel, galvalume steel is a form of cold rolled galvanized steel with metal coating composed of 55% aluminum, 43% zinc, and 1.6% silicon. Its unique composition gives aluzinc steel some distinctive features by the combination of the physical protection and high durability of aluminum and the electrochemical protection of zinc.
Features:
Superior long term corrosion resistance allows aluzinc steel coils to outperform galvanized coating by 2 to 6 time
The density of 55% aluminum is smaller than that of zinc. With the same weight and thickness of the plating layer, the area of the galvalume steel sheet is 3% or larger than that of a galvanized steel sheet.
